Welcome to Phoenix Nature Therapy
Nature-based Therapy and Creative support in Matlock and Derby.
Are you ok? It’s okay not to be. There is so much to process right now, both individually and as part of the wider world. Many people looking for counselling in Derbyshire arrive here feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure where to even begin, and that is also ok.
We can make a space for all of this, in the way that feels right for you: outside in nature, online, or in a cosy therapy room. Whether you’re seeking nature‑based therapy in Derby or Matlock, outdoors, indoors or online counselling across the UK, you deserve the chance to be heard, to feel, to reconnect, to heal, and to grow. Together we can take this one step at a time.
I offer spaces where the messy underlayers of life are welcome. A place to slow down, breathe, and feel supported. Together we can talk things through, learn, challenge, get creative, reconnect with what matters, and figure out what needs to change. This is a space for people navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, burnout, climate anxiety, and life transitions.
You don’t need to have everything worked out. Just drop me a message. We’ll take it step by step. I also offer a free 20–30 minute initial chat (online or by phone) so you can get a feel for how I work and whether it feels like a good fit.
My work is rooted in relational, trauma‑informed counselling and nature‑based therapy, inviting you to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom. Whether we’re walking outdoors, exploring natural objects, working somatically with the nervous system, or sitting together online, you are welcome exactly as you are.
Phoenix Nature grew from a quiet hope: that by rebuilding our relationship with nature, with each other, and with ourselves, we can find healing not only for our own lives, but also for the wider world we belong to. Even in the ashes, a quiet ember remains — the Phoenix’s reminder that something new can always begin to grow. This is the heart of my eco‑therapy and outdoor counselling approach.
